These are some of the final images from my latest photoshoot. Seeing myself on the cover of a local magazine certainly feels surreal as I’m far more comfortable writing about models than being one. The images encapsulate the playful spirit of the 1960s High Society housewife where her best accessory is a personal pool boy. It’s unfortunate Canadian summers are so short!

Although I tend to wear leopard print mostly in the Fall/Winter, this skirt worked perfectly on a hot summer’s day with a breathable bamboo tank and nude shoes. You might remember the Bianca Marc Jacobs clutch from here.

Urns, Greece.
It was a lazy holiday Monday and I spent some time playing with my Nikon D90. I’m a beginner at this whole photography business so you can expect to see more of my own pictures on the blog as I continue to experiment. The Nikon 50mm f/1.4D lens is delightful to work with when shooting close-ups of objects and people. I quickly learned that the flash is not my friend! There is always enough light to take a good picture.
I chose the hours just before sunset to capture some images around my home which made me appreciate its global decor. Since travelling is a huge part of my lifestyle, I tend to bring back items from the places I visit. Enjoy the tour thusfar and I’ll work my way around the house to bring you more pictures soon.
